I call my works “miniature collages.” In them, I combine found objects, plant fragments, and drawings to create small visual worlds on paper. They straddle the boundaries between collage and assemblage, mixed media and object art, without fitting neatly into any one of these categories.
Each element used is a sculptural miniature. Botanical fragments and traces of everyday life give rise to bird-like figures, insect forms, and independent scenes that demand a closer look.

Between Collage and Assemblage
Unlike in a traditional assemblage, I don’t just rearrange found objects; I combine them with doodles and line drawings. Unlike in a traditional collage, paper is not my primary material, but rather serves primarily as a support and background.
The terms “mixed-media collage” and “object art” partially describe my working method. For me, however, “miniature collage” comes closest: a small, object-like visual world made up of found objects, plant fragments, and drawings.
