Collage and Assemblage

The category Collage and Assemblage brings together works by Magdalena Hohlweg in which found objects, plant remnants and pictorial elements are combined to create new visual worlds. Collage and assemblage are closely related art forms: in collage, flat and pictorial elements tend to come to the fore, whereas assemblage also incorporates found objects with a three-dimensional presence.
