Metamorphosis in the Kurpark – with site plan

Metamorphosis in the spa gardens

Metamorphosis in the Bad Pyrmont spa gardens

Stroll through the spa gardens, enjoy and come out relaxed and transformed. “Healthy and happy” is the name of the game here in Bad Pyrmont. That is the real metamorphosis. I experience it every day. If I’m looking for a little relaxation, I know that I can find peace there. This collage is based on the wonderful order of this historic garden – I have included colors, shapes and lines in harmonious order in this work. Some of the found objects used come from the spa gardens. At the top, for example, is a wingnut and below it in the row is a small chestnut tree that I picked up on Spingbrunnenallee. Small remnants of the palm trees have also been added and transformed.

The legend of the metamorphosis in the spa gardens

A supplementary legend provides better orientation. It is part of this collage of the “Metamorphosis in the Kurpark”

Excerpt from a collage in which plant parts and paper become insects

With this map, you can virtually never get lost in the Bad Pyrmont spa gardens. Follow your intuition and nature.

Trust yourself – as the Kurpark is clearly laid out, you won’t get lost despite my legend, but will find your way out again relaxed and changed for the better.

And yet the thought always creeps up on me that I am still a long way from the actual diversity of…

  • April – find out what you really want

Courage to find your own artistic voice – especially now April is rarely unambiguous – perhaps that’s why it’s the most honest month of the year. At least it doesn’t pretend to have everything under control. Between friendly, bright moments and rough, uncomfortable days, an interplay unfolds that is often closer to our own inner…
