Bird Art Collage

Untouched? Only almost

Material: Jasmine flowers, tiny rose buds, fluttering elm seeds, lilac
seed capsules, fern leaves, a chrysalis hand, lime seeds, fir seeds,
grasses and many other plant remains.
What could be nicer than gaining the trust of an animal and being allowed to feed it
? And yet the fragile biodiversity demands our restraint
. Thus, the object framing of the picture serves like a showcase as a sanctuary for the countless delicate bird creatures framed by reed grass.
Everything is only “almost” untouched:
Because I only change the collected plant parts very little. Instead,
just as I find them, their personalities develop almost by themselves at
.
I mainly determine the character and movement of the figures through their positioning in the picture.

Indicated line drawings such as arrows, grids and stamps are reminiscent of
markings and marginal notes in scientific works and drafts. Here they are part of the landscape design by human hands.
Nothing remains untouched. Or does it?

Caution is the mother of porcelain and nature

Hidden in the reeds, life is quiet and undisturbed. If you approach with enough patience and attentiveness, you can observe the wide variety of bird life.

Juno and the Art of Imperfection

Summer at Last It’s finally June. Time for outings, for hikes, for a cup of coffee on the main avenue in Bad Pyrmont—and for all those conversations with the lovely people you rarely saw during the winter. The days are growing longer, the meadows are lush, and the light streams so generously through the windows…

  • Tell me where the bugs are

About flying diamonds, chocolate wrappers, and a spoon coat of arms from Ulm June has the floor. Outside, the air is buzzing and humming again—in the hedges, the meadows, and through the warm air—that delicate, humming orchestra of tiny creatures that delights me anew every summer. I know not everyone shares my enthusiasm. But anyone…

My thoughts are reflected in my work.
