To explore the traditional craft of indigo printing, I decided to take a digital approach.
The result is a deck of cards in which traditional motifs are combined with new designs.
I took both the rigid structures of traditional craftsmanship and the time-honored rules of card games as inspiration to break with the old rules and develop a new deck of cards.
Queen, Jack, King—in this deck, the Ace represents the honeycomb. Let’s shuffle the cards again for a fair game!
