Which is the most beautiful in the whole country?
Natural or imitation?
The genuine jay feather on the far left holds up bravely against the silver-plated decorative feather on the far right. There’s no question who copied from whom. They complement each other so beautifully that I have staged them both. Model and imitation, reality and appearance hold the whole fragile world of birds together in this scene. The whole thing is without doubt a genuine and unique one-off. Once again. There is also a small rosebud. Can you find it? That’s right – it’s the little bird at the bottom of the stem. The rod, in turn, comes from the seed capsule of a palm tree. Can you see the little bird tracks under the jay feather? They’re so authentic, aren’t they? I thought so too. But they come from the seed pod of the birch tree. To be correct: They are not birch seeds, but only the scales on which a birch seed is placed. Would you like to know more? Well, nature really does offer an infinite number of exciting details. You can google it here.
