Special exhibition at the Bad Pyrmont Castle Museum<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

At first I was a little in doubt: How would my exhibits be shown to their best advantage in the colorful, classicist halls, against the backdrop of the very colorful textile wallpaper?<\/p>\n\n

The doubts were absolutely unfounded. On the contrary – I could hardly wish for a better frame for my most fragile works. <\/p>\n\n

In this setting, the question of the value and importance of my compositions comes to the fore as if by itself and quite vividly. <\/p>\n\n

Miniature collage meets baroque<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

Insects and bird species in the castle museum! The last remnants of civilization among the princely treasures of the Beletage of Bad Pyrmont Castle<\/a>! Hanging contemporary art on baroque fabric wallpaper!<\/p>\n\n

The spacious rooms of the castle provided an absolutely appropriate setting for my (UN) scientific collections.<\/p>\n\n

Glitz and glamor for the most banal fragments<\/h3>\n\n

The insect collections and habitats for the strangest bird species were explored by around 4500 interested visitors.<\/p>\n\n

I really enjoyed the many inspiring conversations with countless enthusiastic visitors. Thanks to the support of the Museumsverein im Schloss Pyrmont e.V.<\/a> and the Stadtsparkasse Bad Pyrmont<\/a>, interested guests were able to discover the generous presentation in all its facets at their leisure.<\/p>\n\n

Picked up in quite ordinary places and brought to new life in my works: the smallest treasures of our everyday life shone with dignified splendor on the Beletage of the moated castle.<\/p>\n\n

Scuffed porcelain shards next to princely collector’s cups, crumpled candy wrappers next to chubby-cheeked cherub angels – the happy fusion!<\/p>\n\n

I was able to accompany several very interested school classes through the exhibition<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

Surprising new insect species were discovered again during the activities with the children from 1st to 5th grade<\/p>\n\n

All the children, with no exceptions, did a fantastic job of realizing their own discoveries<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

During the numerous guided tours and activities with schoolchildren from Bad Pyrmont and the surrounding area, we were able to discover it together: What we consider valuable is valuable. The smallest and most banal things can provide surprising impulses if we are prepared to look at them with new appreciation. What is really important in life, our own heart can tell us most certainly. <\/p>\n\n

The walk-in cocoon was able to find its place here for the first time – a popular selfie spot. <\/p>\n\n

For me, Romanticism 2.0 is the inseparability of knowledge and emotion. <\/h3>\n\n

You can find my manifesto here in my catalog<\/a>. To find new perspectives, we can look at everything anew. With a new appreciation. That’s why transformation was an important theme of this exhibition. Anyone who was ready could experience their own metamorphosis in the walk-in cocoon. And the questions surrounding growth, change and transformation also inspired me to take new steps and projects. <\/p>\n\n
